As a Primary Class Teacher, you will play a vital role in enhancing the learning experiences of pupils with diverse special educational and learning needs. Your support will empower them to gain independence and fully engage in both the curriculum and school life.

Your Role and Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver high-quality lessons aligned with the National Curriculum, catering to the complex SEMH needs of all pupils.
• Support the class team in creating enriching learning opportunities and fostering positive behaviors.
• Monitor and report on pupils' progress, collaborating with staff to ensure their needs are met.
• Supervise pupils during non-classroom activities, including extracurricular events and school trips.
• Build strong, positive relationships with pupils to encourage interaction and enhance learning outcomes.

What We’re Looking For

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is essential.
• A strong educational background at degree level.
• Previous successful teaching experience.
• Experience working with pupils with SEMH needs in an educational setting.
• Effective behavior management techniques.
• A commitment to professional development and a willingness to learn.
