Your Role

As a SEN Teacher, you will play a crucial role in shaping the educational experience of our pupils. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Planning and delivering high-quality lessons aligned with the National Curriculum, addressing the complex ASC & SEMH needs of all pupils.
  • Supporting the class team in facilitating engaging learning opportunities and promoting positive behaviors.
  • Monitoring and reporting on pupils' progress, collaborating with other staff to ensure their needs are met.
  • Supervising pupils during non-classroom time, including extracurricular activities and school trips.
  • Building positive relationships with pupils to drive interaction and enhance learning outcomes.

What We’re Looking For

To thrive in this role, you should have:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
  • A suitable degree-level qualification.
  • Previous successful teaching experience.
  • Experience working with pupils with SEND in an educational setting.
  • Strong behavior management skills and techniques.
  • A commitment to professional development and a willingness to learn.

Working Conditions

This is a full-time position, term-time only, with a salary range of £28,000 - £39,520 depending on experience. You will work 37.5 hours per week in a supportive and collaborative environment.
