Location: Home-based, FCA South East

Salary: £35 per hour

With our office located in London Bridge, our passionate team and Foster Parents are spread across the vibrant regions of Kent, Sussex, London, Southampton, Portsmouth, Bournemouth, and the Isle of Wight.

What We Are Looking For

Are you a motivated and passionate therapist or a therapy-trained social worker? If so, we want you to join our team! As an Associate Therapist, you will play a crucial role in delivering high-quality therapy services that foster a therapeutic environment for looked-after children and young people.

Your Responsibilities Will Include:

  • Providing consultation sessions to Foster Parents facing specific challenges.
  • Collaborating with team members to address issues related to placements.
  • Engaging with external local authorities, social workers, and schools.
  • Building strong relationships with new Foster Parents through group sessions.
  • Facilitating workshops to enhance reflective therapeutic practice among staff.

What You Bring to the Table:

  • Experience working within a fostering service or a similar environment is a plus.
  • Strong administrative skills and the ability to adhere to regulatory policies.
  • A collaborative spirit to thrive in a fast-paced team setting.
  • Qualification and accreditation with one of the following professional bodies:
    • BACP - British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy
    • BPS - British Psychological Society
    • HCPC - Health and Care Professions Council
    • UKCP - UK Council for Psychotherapy
    • PTUK - Play Therapy UK
