Are you ready to make a real difference in the lives of children and families? We are looking for a Senior / Supervising Social Worker to join our friendly and dynamic team. This is a fantastic opportunity to work remotely in the beautiful North East, primarily supporting Foster Parents in the Teesside area.

Your Role

As a Senior / Supervising Social Worker, you will:

  • Recruit, train, assess, support, and supervise a diverse range of Foster Parents.
  • Ensure high-quality placements for looked-after children.
  • Work closely with your team and Foster Parents to foster a supportive environment.

What We Are Looking For

We seek an enthusiastic and committed self-starter who can work independently while maintaining strong connections with team members and Foster Parents. The ideal candidate will:

  • Be a qualified Social Worker with current Social Work England registration.
  • Possess excellent assessment skills and strong communication abilities, both written and verbal.
  • Have good IT skills and the ability to produce high-quality reports.
  • Bring recent experience in fostering and children's services (desirable but not essential).
  • Have a solid understanding of relevant legislation, policies, and procedures related to fostering and safeguarding.

Working Conditions & Benefits

This is a full-time, permanent position with a competitive salary of up to £43,626.47 per annum, depending on experience. Additional benefits include:
