Role: Senior / Supervising Social Worker

Contract: Full Time, Permanent

Basic Salary: Up to £43,626.47 per annum, dependent upon experience

Base Location: Remote - North East

Covering Area: Teesside and other areas of the North East

Your Role

As a Senior / Supervising Social Worker, you will be a vital part of our friendly and dynamic team, primarily working with Foster Parents in the Teesside area, with opportunities to support households across the North East. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Recruiting, training, and assessing Foster Parents
  • Providing ongoing support and supervision to ensure high-quality placements for looked-after children

About You

We are looking for an enthusiastic and committed self-starter who can work independently while maintaining strong connections with team members and Foster Parents. The ideal candidate will possess:

  • Excellent assessment and communication skills (both written and verbal)
  • Strong IT skills and the ability to produce high-quality reports
  • A qualification in Social Work and current Social Work England registration
  • Recent experience in fostering and children's services (desirable, but less experienced candidates are welcome to apply)
  • A solid understanding of relevant legislation, policies, and procedures related to fostering and safeguarding
