Your New Role
As a Carpenter at Warner Bros. Studios Leavesden, you’ll be the architect of our spaces! Your responsibilities will include maintaining, modifying, repairing, and renovating both interior and exterior carpentry. Each day will bring new challenges, allowing you to showcase your versatility across a wide range of maintenance tasks.
Your keen eye for detail will be crucial. You’ll coordinate with your manager, audit completed work, and ensure every area meets the high standards WBSL is known for. Your Role Accountabilities
- Carry out planned and reactive maintenance tasks promptly.
- Monitor Health & Safety compliance, ensuring correct PPE is worn as per regulations.
- Maintain the site's assets and ironmongery for continuous operation and legal compliance.
- Respond to emergencies with a focus on implementing permanent or temporary fixes.
- Conduct general maintenance tasks and inspect assets, including areas at height.
- Assist the Lead Carpenter in delivering business expectations and adhering to UK legislation.
- Help maintain an up-to-date asset list and ironmongery data sheets.
- Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications.
Qualifications & Experiences
- Proficient in the use and maintenance of hand tools and job-specific equipment.
- Experience with site plant equipment such as MEWPS.
- Full working knowledge of Health & Safety standards (training provided).
- Understanding of COSHH regulations.
- Good grasp of maintenance requirements and special equipment used on site.
- Must hold a full UK driving licence.
Desirable Qualifications
- NVQ Level 3 Diploma in Carpentry.
- Carpentry Apprenticeship.
- Level 3 Advanced Technical Diploma in Site Carpentry and Architectural Joinery.
- Trained to use trailers and forklifts.
Working Pattern
You will work a 40-hour week on a rota shift pattern, including evenings and weekends to align with studio operations. Be prepared to respond to emergencies outside of normal working hours, including some bank holidays.

This role is advertised as Onsite, meaning all working hours will be carried out at the studio. WBD reserves the right to adjust this working agreement as necessary for business needs, with reasonable notice.
