Position Details

  • Job Title: Senior Residential Support Worker
  • Contract: Full-time, Permanent
  • Hours: 08:00 AM - 08:00 PM (12-hour shifts)
  • Salary: £34,660.95
  • Location: Greater London (covering Camden, Haringey & Islington)

Your Role

As a Senior Support Worker, you will play a crucial role in delivering high-quality care and achieving positive outcomes for our young residents. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Acting as a key worker and overseeing daily practices.
  • Leading and mentoring staff to ensure exceptional care standards.
  • Organizing work patterns and ensuring compliance with care plans and safeguarding standards.
  • Recording and reviewing key work plans and risk assessments.
  • Managing placement plans and coordinating access to health, education, and therapeutic services.

What We’re Looking For

To thrive in this role, you should have:

  • 2 to 3 years of relevant experience in a similar role.
  • A Children’s Workforce Diploma or equivalent qualification in the children’s sector.
  • A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people.

Working Conditions

We offer a structured rota pattern to ensure work-life balance:

  • Week 1: Mon, Tue, Fri, Sat, Sun (60 hours)
  • Week 2: Wed, Thu (24 hours)
  • Minimum average of 168 hours per month
