Role: Senior / Supervising Social Worker

Contract: Full Time, Permanent

Basic Salary: Up to £43,626.47 per annum, depending on experience

Base Location: Remote - North East

Covering Area: Teesside and other areas of the North East

Your Role

We are looking for a passionate Senior / Supervising Social Worker to join our friendly and dynamic team. You will primarily work with Foster Parents in the Teesside area, with some opportunities in other parts of the North East.

  • Responsible for the recruitment, training, assessment, support, and supervision of Foster Parents.
  • Ensure high-quality placements for looked-after children.

About You

  • You are an enthusiastic self-starter, able to work independently while staying connected with team members and Foster Parents.
  • Excellent assessment skills and strong communication abilities, both written and verbal.
  • Qualified Social Worker with current Social Work England registration; recent experience in fostering and children's services is desirable.
  • Good working knowledge of relevant legislation, policies, and procedures related to fostering and safeguarding.
  • A creative vision and drive to innovate, whether you’re new to fostering or an experienced supervising social worker.
