This is a fantastic opportunity to work remotely in the North East, primarily covering the Teesside area.

Your Role

As a Senior / Supervising Social Worker, you will:

  • Recruit, train, assess, support, and supervise a diverse range of Foster Parents.
  • Ensure high-quality placements for looked-after children.
  • Work closely with Foster Parents, providing them with the support they need to thrive.

What We’re Looking For

We seek an enthusiastic and committed self-starter who can work independently while maintaining strong connections with team members and Foster Parents. The ideal candidate will:

  • Have excellent assessment skills and strong communication abilities, both written and verbal.
  • Possess good IT skills and the ability to produce high-quality reports.
  • Be a qualified Social Worker with current Social Work England registration.
  • Have recent experience in fostering and children’s services (desirable, but less experienced candidates are welcome).
  • Possess a solid understanding of relevant legislation, policies, and procedures related to fostering and safeguarding.

Working Conditions & Benefits

This is a full-time, permanent position with a competitive salary of up to £43,626.47 per annum, depending on experience. Additional benefits include:

  • £1,000 Car Allowance or Company Car scheme.
  • 30 days of annual leave, increasing to 35 days with length of service.
