Your Role
As a SEN Class Teacher, you will:
- Plan and deliver engaging lessons that meet the National Curriculum while addressing the complex SEMH needs of our pupils.
- Support your class team in creating enriching learning opportunities and fostering positive behaviors.
- Monitor and report on pupil progress, collaborating with staff to ensure every child's needs are met.
- Supervise pupils during non-classroom activities, including extracurricular events and school trips.
- Build strong relationships with pupils, encouraging interaction and positive learning outcomes.
What We’re Looking For
To thrive in this role, you should:
- Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
- Possess a strong educational background to degree level.
- Have previous successful teaching experience.
- Be experienced in working with pupils with SEMH needs in an educational setting.
- Utilize effective behavior management techniques.
- Be committed to your professional development and eager to learn.
