Salary: £50,000 - £60,000 per annum, dependent on experience

About the School
Located in the heart of Wirral, our school will cater to up to 42 pupils aged 5 to 18 with a range of complex needs. We are dedicated to creating a safe and supportive environment where every child feels valued, respected, and empowered. Key Responsibilities
- Educational Leadership: Craft and implement a vision that embodies the values of the Polaris Community, focusing on compassion, inclusion, and personalized learning.
- Safeguarding: Serve as the Designated Safeguarding Lead, collaborating with partners to foster a robust safeguarding culture.
- Curriculum Enhancement: Tailor the curriculum to meet the diverse needs of our students, ensuring an engaging learning journey.
- Pastoral Care and SEN Advocacy: Champion emotional wellbeing and advocate for the rights of our SEN students.
- Staff Development: Mentor and support staff, promoting continuous professional growth and teamwork.
- Community Engagement: Build strong relationships with parents, carers, and external partners to create a supportive network.
Qualifications and Experience
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with primary or secondary teaching experience
- A suitable first degree and/or National Professional Qualification for Headship (NPQH) is preferred, but not essential
- Experience working with SEN students and a deep understanding of their unique needs
- Proven leadership skills with the ability to inspire and motivate others
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
