Covering Area: Aylesbury, Bracknell, Reading, and Woking
Salary: £29,600 per annum (£37,000 FTE)
Hours: 4 days per week (28 hours)

Your Role
As a Supervising Social Worker, you will play a crucial role in supporting our foster parents and the children in their care. Your responsibilities will include:
- Providing direct support to foster parents with a manageable caseload for effective supervision.
- Conducting regular supervision sessions to monitor practice and ensure compliance with regulatory standards.
- Collaborating with children, young people, foster parents, and other professionals to facilitate participation in assessments and decision-making related to safeguarding.
What We’re Looking For
We seek a qualified and experienced Social Worker who is enthusiastic and committed to fostering. Here’s what you need to bring:
- A Social Work England-recognised qualification or equivalent.
- Experience in children and families social work.
- A desire to work within a therapeutic model of childcare.
- A solid understanding of relevant legislation and publications related to children’s services.
- A full driving licence and unrestricted access to your own car.
Working Conditions
This is a demanding yet rewarding position that combines quality assurance and training for foster parents. You will need to be an excellent report writer and able to meet strict deadlines. An enhanced DBS check will be required, and the cost will be covered by ISP.
