Position: SEN Class Teacher
Salary: £28,000 - £39,520 per annum
Contract: Full Time, Term Time Only
Hours: 37.5 hours per week
Location: Scunthorpe
Projected Start Date: April 2027

Your Role and Responsibilities

As a SEN Class Teacher, you will:

  • Plan and deliver engaging lessons aligned with the National Curriculum, tailored to meet the complex SEMH needs of our pupils.
  • Support your class team in creating enriching learning opportunities and fostering positive behaviors.
  • Monitor and report on pupils' progress, collaborating with staff to ensure every child's needs are met.
  • Supervise pupils during non-classroom activities, including extracurricular events and school trips.
  • Build strong, positive relationships with pupils to encourage interaction and enhance learning outcomes.

What We’re Looking For

To thrive in this role, you should:

  • Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
  • Possess a strong educational background, ideally to degree level.
  • Have previous successful teaching experience.
  • Be experienced in working with pupils with SEMH needs in an educational setting.
  • Utilize effective behavior management techniques.
  • Be committed to your professional development and eager to learn.
