Contract: Full Time, Permanent
Hours: 38 hours per week
Competitive Salary
- Unqualified: Up to £34,079.99 (including sleep-in shifts)
- Qualified: Up to £35,810.18 (including sleep-in shifts)

About the Role
As a Team Leader, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that young people receive a safe, positive, and nurturing living experience. You will lead and support the Residential Support Worker team in delivering high-quality care.
Your Responsibilities Include:
- Working shifts to maintain a safe and smooth operation of the home
- Leading and supervising Residential Support Workers, promoting best practices
- Staying updated on policies, procedures, and legislation, guiding staff accordingly
- Building strong, professional relationships with multi-agency partners, families, and the community
- Supporting care planning and young people's reviews
- Encouraging young people to participate in decision-making
- Promoting equality and anti-discriminatory practices
- Attending required training and supporting QCF learners
Essential Skills
- A good standard of education, working towards or holding a Level 3 Diploma in Children and Young People's Workforce or equivalent
- Strong understanding of childcare legislation, Children's Homes Regulations, and Quality Standards
- Experience supporting young people with challenging behaviours
- Confidence in report writing, numeracy, general administration, and IT
- Ability to build positive, empathetic relationships with young people
- Motivational and supportive leadership style, with the ability to develop staff
- Knowledge of national and local safeguarding procedures
