What You'll Do

As an Apprentice Administrator, you will play a vital role in our office team. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Providing comprehensive day-to-day administrative support
  • Maintaining databases and electronic filing systems
  • Producing professionally written emails and letters
  • Processing incoming and outgoing post
  • Managing invoices and photocopying tasks
  • Supporting the social work team with data collection and filing
  • Liaising with foster parents and local authority social workers
  • Ensuring compliance with Health and Safety records
  • Taking minutes during team meetings and distributing them
  • Creating content for our online information platform

Your Skills and Qualifications

We are looking for someone who is:

  • Enthusiastic about learning and developing their skills
  • Possessing basic administration skills
  • Holding a GCSE/equivalent in maths and English (A Level 2 Functional Skills qualification can be completed alongside your apprenticeship)
  • Capable of managing their own workload and working independently
  • Equipped with excellent customer service skills
  • Familiar with IT and electronic communications, including Microsoft Office
  • Organized and open to direction, using initiative when needed

Working Conditions

This is a full-time position, requiring 35 hours per week. You will also have dedicated time during your work week to attend your Business Administration Level 3 course, either in college or online.
