Where You’ll Work

You’ll be part of the Oldham / Bury cluster, covering areas like Oldham, Bury, Rochdale, Middleton, Chadderton, Failsworth, Whitefield, Prestwich, Radcliffe, Heywood, and Ramsbottom. We prioritize local work, allowing you to focus on getting our members back on the road in your community.

What You’ll Need

To thrive in this role, you’ll need:

• Either:
• NVQ Level 2 qualification in Light Vehicle Maintenance (or equivalent) with 2+ years of experience
• 5+ years of experience as a Vehicle Technician/Mechanic
• And:
• A full UK driving licence with fewer than 6 points

As a Roadside Technician, you’ll deliver expert mechanical roadside repair, vehicle diagnostics, and emergency breakdown support across the UK. Whether it’s a flat battery, a tyre change, or complex fault-finding, you’ll provide quick, confident solutions and reassurance when our members need it most.

Start and end your day at home, tackling challenges head-on and making a real impact on the roadside. We’ll equip you for success from day one with your own RAC van, fuel card, full uniform, essential tools, and diagnostic kit.
