Your Role
As a SEN Teacher, you will play a crucial role in:
- Planning and delivering high-quality lessons aligned with the National Curriculum, tailored to meet the complex needs of pupils with ASC and SEMH.
- Supporting the class team in creating engaging learning opportunities and fostering positive behaviors.
- Monitoring and reporting on pupils' progress, collaborating with staff to ensure all needs are met.
- Supervising pupils during non-classroom activities, including extracurricular events and school trips.
- Building strong, positive relationships with pupils to drive interaction and enhance learning outcomes.
What We’re Looking For
To thrive in this role, you should have:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and a suitable degree-level qualification.
- Previous successful teaching experience, particularly with SEND pupils.
- Experience in behavior management techniques.
- A commitment to professional development and a willingness to learn.
Working Conditions
This is a full-time position, term-time only, with a salary ranging from £28,000 to £39,520 depending on experience. You will work 37.5 hours per week in a supportive and collaborative environment.
