About Us

Founded in 1987 by a group of devoted foster parents, we are proud to be the UK’s first independent foster care agency. With over 30 years of experience, we have always placed the child at the heart of our mission. Our Integrated Service Programme (ISP) provides a comprehensive circle of support, including social workers, fostering advisors, teachers, and therapists, all dedicated to helping foster parents and the children they care for.

Your Role

As a Supervising Social Worker, you will:

  • Provide direct support to foster parents, managing a realistic caseload that allows for high-quality supervision.
  • Conduct regular supervision sessions with allocated foster parents, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.
  • Collaborate with children, young people, foster parents, and other professionals to facilitate participation in assessments, planning, and decision-making related to safeguarding and child protection.

What We’re Looking For

We seek a qualified and experienced Social Worker or Senior Social Worker who is:

  • Enthusiastic and committed to fostering.
  • Experienced in working collaboratively with foster parents and within a multi-disciplinary environment.
  • Skilled in report writing and able to meet strict deadlines.
  • Holds a Social Care England recognized qualification in Social Work or equivalent.
  • Possesses a comprehensive knowledge of relevant legislation pertaining to children’s services.
  • Holds a full driving license with unrestricted access to your own car.

Working Conditions

This is a full-time, permanent position that comes with:

  • A £3,000 car allowance
  • 30 days of annual leave, increasing to 35 days with length of service, plus bank holidays.
