We are excited to invite a dedicated Children's Home Registered Manager to lead our brand new 4-bed home in Doncaster.

About the Role

As the Registered Manager, you will hold the key responsibility for the day-to-day management of the home. Your leadership will ensure that we deliver high-quality care while promoting the rights of young people. You will guide a team of care workers to achieve positive outcomes in the physical, psychological, emotional, and social development of our residents.

Main Responsibilities

  • Service and Practice: Develop and deliver high-quality care in line with relevant legislation and organizational policies.
  • Record Keeping: Maintain accurate records for both young people and staff, implementing monitoring and evaluation systems.
  • Team Leadership: Lead and support your team, ensuring they receive adequate training and supervision.
  • On-Call Duties: Participate in on-call responsibilities and cover sleep-in shifts as needed.
  • Decision Making: Oversee admissions and discharges, making informed decisions to enhance the home's environment.

Required Qualifications

  • A relevant Diploma Level 5 or equivalent (or a willingness to work towards it).
  • Experience in managing a team and a comprehensive understanding of child protection and safeguarding procedures.
  • Enthusiasm for providing the highest quality care and education.

Working Conditions

This is a full-time, permanent position requiring 39 hours per week. You will be expected to undertake sleep-in duties as per the home’s rota, with some office days for administrative tasks.

Compensation and Benefits

  • Salary: Up to £64,280 (includes Ofsted and occupancy bonuses).
  • Annual Leave: 25 days plus 8 statutory holidays.
  • Bonuses: £3,000 for an Outstanding Ofsted Report and £600 monthly for full occupancy.
  • On-Call Payments: £25 on weekdays, £35 on weekends.
  • Pension: In line with the organizational pension scheme and government guidance.
  • Petrol Allowance: Paid when using your own car (proof of business insurance required).
