About the Role
Welcome to Splash Waterworld, one of the most vibrant and exhilarating spots on our resort! As a Lifeguard, you’ll be at the heart of the action, surrounded by thrilling flumes, high-speed slides, and joyful guests. Your mission? To ensure everyone has an unforgettable time while keeping safety a top priority.
This isn’t just a sit-and-watch position. You’ll be actively supervising the slides, monitoring the wave pool, and leading poolside activities, all while creating memorable moments and building genuine connections with our guests. At Butlin’s, every day is unique—whether you’re welcoming families during school holidays or hosting guests at our adult-only Big Weekenders, you’ll be part of a dynamic team that keeps the fun flowing year-round!
The Details:
- Full-time role
- 35 hours per week, across 5 days out of 7
- Includes evenings and weekends
- Live-in accommodation available for those relocating
About You
We’re on the lookout for energetic, responsible individuals who thrive in social environments. If you stay calm under pressure, communicate effectively, and enjoy teamwork, you might be the perfect fit! This role can be busy and physically demanding, so being alert, active, and ready to dive in is essential.
To join our team, you’ll need to:
- Be a strong and confident swimmer
- Exhibit excellent awareness and attention to detail
- Be confident in responding to emergency situations
No NPLQ? No problem! If you have the right attitude and strong swimming skills, we’ll support you in obtaining your National Pool Lifeguard Qualification. Previous experience in leisure, hospitality, or a waterpark environment is a plus, but what we value most is your energy, personality, and passion for guest experience.
