Job Description:

ABOUT THE ROLE

Join our dynamic team as a Technology Field Application Engineer – FPGA and play a pivotal role in supporting our customers' R&D and engineering teams. You will help them select the ideal FPGA technologies and components for their innovative designs. Collaborating closely with customers, suppliers, and internal teams, you will transform technical requirements into practical FPGA-based solutions.

This position is based in the UK, offering the flexibility to work remotely from home or from our Harlow office. Be prepared for regular travel across the UK and Ireland to engage with customers directly!

WHAT WILL YOU DO:

  • Assist customers in choosing the right FPGA technologies and components for their development projects.
  • Engage with customers throughout the design process, from initial technical discussions to implementation.
  • Collaborate with our local Field Application Engineering team to expand Arrow’s FPGA business in the UK and Ireland.
  • Prepare and deliver technical training sessions, events, and meetings for customers and suppliers.
  • Provide expert technical guidance based on customer needs, supplier strategies, and market trends.

WHO YOU ARE:

  • You have a passion for electronics and thrive on working with cutting-edge technologies.
  • You hold a degree in electronics engineering or possess equivalent practical experience.
  • You have a solid understanding of FPGA technology and its diverse applications.
  • Experience in FPGA electronic design is a plus!
  • You communicate effectively and enjoy collaborating with customers, suppliers, and technical teams.
  • You are fluent in English.
  • You possess a valid driving license and are open to traveling across the UK and Ireland.
