Job Details
Location: Towcester, Northamptonshire – hybrid working
Hours: 37.5 hours per week (some flexibility available!)

Your Responsibilities
As a Highway Inspector, you’ll be an essential part of the Asset Management and Professional Services team. Your day-to-day tasks will include:
- Conducting safety inspections on the highway network in line with the Highway Safety Inspection Manual and the "Code of Practice Well Managed Highways Infrastructure."
- Documenting inspection findings using our asset management system.
- Preparing work packs for defect rectification.
- Managing your own schedule of walked and driven inspections each month.
- Promoting wellbeing and fostering an inclusive workplace where diversity is celebrated.
What We’re Looking For
This role is perfect for someone who:
- Holds GCSEs (or equivalent) and has a solid understanding of highway maintenance or a related field.
- Has practical experience in highways, civil engineering, construction, or infrastructure.
- Is eager to learn and develop skills in highway safety inspections through training and support.
- Enjoys collaborating with clients, local authorities, and stakeholders to deliver innovative solutions.
- Maintains a disciplined approach to work, prioritizing safety, quality, and excellent customer service.
