Are you ready to make a difference? We’re on the lookout for passionate Operatives to join our Anglian Water Alliance team in the vibrant cities of Norwich and Ipswich.

Location: Norwich and Ipswich
Hours: 45 hours per week
Please note: We are unable to offer certificates of sponsorship for this role.
Your Role
As an Operative, you’ll play a crucial role in maintaining and enhancing water infrastructure across the region. You’ll collaborate on a variety of projects, including:
- Maintenance of existing assets
- Pressure management
- District metering
- Complex mains repairs
This hands-on position not only allows you to develop your skills but also contributes to essential services that support local communities.
Your Responsibilities
In this role, you will:
- Take personal responsibility for health and safety performance and quality of work
- Work on maintenance of existing assets, pressure management, and district metering
- Carry out large and complex mains repairs
- Communicate effectively with team leaders and colleagues on project progress
- Engage professionally with customers to ensure excellent service delivery
What We’re Looking For
This role is perfect for you if you:
- Hold a Full driving licence
- Have CSCS and EUSR Water Hygiene cards
- Have experience working and excavating on the highway
- Are experienced with small-scale civils and reinstatement
- Hold valid EUSR National Water Hygiene and SHEA Water certificates
