Are you ready to take the lead in hydraulic modelling? We’re on the lookout for a Hydraulic Modelling Lead to join our dynamic Water Engineering team. This role offers flexibility with UK travel, allowing you to make a significant impact while enjoying a work-life balance.

Location: Flexible with UK travel
Hours: 37.5 hours per week - some flexibility available!

Your Role

As our Hydraulic Modelling Lead, you will play a pivotal role in shaping and growing our Water Engineering division. This is your chance to deliver design excellence across clean and wastewater projects while collaborating closely with our construction teams and water company clients throughout the UK.

What Will You Be Responsible For?

In this exciting position, your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

  • Leading hydraulic modelling activities to ensure design excellence and client satisfaction.
  • Shaping and implementing a hydraulic modelling growth plan in coordination with the Head of Water.
  • Providing technical leadership and participating in bid teams to add value for our clients.
  • Liaising with water companies and internal construction teams to deliver technical excellence.
  • Identifying innovation opportunities and coordinating with in-house design capability leaders for effective resourcing.

What Are We Looking For?

This role is perfect for you if:

  • You have significant experience in the regulated water sector and a solid network within water client and design organizations.
  • You possess extensive expertise in using modelling packages for design and optioneering challenges in both clean and wastewater projects.
  • You are Chartered (CEng) with a relevant professional body and hold a degree in an appropriate discipline.
  • You have a passion for developing high-performing teams and experience in a design and build environment.
  • You excel in communication with a collaborative, customer-focused approach and an open leadership style.
