Key Details

• Location: Birmingham (B7 5HR)
• Contract: Permanent, Full-time
• Salary: £27,976 to £33,000 depending on experience + call out + overtime + standby

Your Responsibilities

As a Highways Maintenance Operative, you will be an essential part of our Operative team, tackling both reactive and planned highways maintenance tasks. Your day-to-day activities will include:

• Performing routine maintenance and repairs on the network, operating various plant and equipment, and ensuring site and company equipment is secure.
• Utilizing WMS / MMW applications during incidents and emergency repairs, while maintaining accurate records of work completed.
• Conducting daily defect reports on vehicles and ensuring they are kept in good order.

• Are Street Works qualified (units 1-9).
• Hold a full driving license.
• Can work independently as well as part of a team.
