- Location: Bridgwater, Somerset
- Contract: Permanent, Full-time
- Salary: £27,976 to £29,000 (depending on experience) + call out + overtime

Your Responsibilities
As a Highways Maintenance Operative, you will play a crucial role in our Operative team, ensuring the efficient and timely delivery of highway services across the Somerset network. Your day-to-day tasks will include:
- Promoting customer care by working closely with team members and ensuring polite interactions with clients and network users.
- Responding to highway defects within designated timescales and updating relevant parties using tablet devices.
- Utilizing tablet applications for incident reporting and emergency repairs, ensuring accurate records of work.
- Conducting daily defect reports on vehicles and maintaining them in good order.
What We’re Looking For
This role is perfect for you if you:
- Hold a full driving licence (LGV training will be provided once you meet necessary business targets).
- Can work independently and as part of a team, effectively communicating any faults or issues.
