About the Role
As a Winter Maintenance Driver, you’ll play a crucial role in ensuring our roads are safe and accessible. Your responsibilities will include:
- Driving a gritter vehicle during unsociable hours
- Fitting a snow plough in adverse weather conditions
- Maintaining accurate driver and vehicle records
Key Details
Location: Glastonbury, Somerset
Contract: Fixed term zero hour contract until April 2027 - Flexible days/nights/weekends - Call out & weather dependent
Salary: £18.04 per hour (Monday to Saturday) and £23.52 per hour (Sunday and Bank Holidays) PLUS a weekly standby of £238.99
What We’re Looking For
This role is ideal for you if:
- You hold a current LGV class 2 licence
- You have CPC accreditation and are eager to undertake training related to the role
