Join Our Team as an Operative!

Are you ready to make a difference? We’re looking for passionate Operatives to join our Anglian Water Alliance team in the vibrant cities of Norwich and Ipswich.

Location: Norwich and Ipswich
Hours: 45 hours per week

Your Role in Our Mission

As part of the Anglian Water Alliance team, you will play a crucial role in maintaining and enhancing water infrastructure across the region. This hands-on position allows you to develop your skills while contributing to essential services that support local communities. You’ll work collaboratively on diverse projects, including:

• Maintenance of existing assets
• Pressure management
• District metering
• Complex mains repairs

Your Responsibilities

In your role as an Operative, you will:

• Take personal responsibility for health and safety performance and quality of work
• Engage in maintenance of existing assets, pressure management, and district metering
• Carry out large and complex mains repairs
• Communicate effectively with team leaders and colleagues on project progress
• Provide excellent service delivery while engaging professionally with customers

What We’re Looking For

This role is perfect for you if you:

• Hold a Full driving licence
• Have CSCS and EUSR Water Hygiene cards
• Have experience working and excavating on the highway
• Are experienced with small scale civils and reinstatement
• Hold valid EUSR National Water Hygiene and SHEA Water certificates
