Are you ready to make a significant impact in the world of engineering? We’re on the lookout for a passionate Site Engineer to join our Severn Trent Framework based in Wanlip.

Location & Hours

Location: Wanlip
Hours: 45 hours per week - some flexibility on hours available if desired. Just let us know when you speak to us!

Your Role

As a Site Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in delivering high-quality projects. You’ll provide essential technical input, ensure accurate setting out, and support our team in maintaining the highest standards of safety and quality. Collaborating closely with a dynamic site team, you’ll help coordinate engineering, construction, and commercial activities to keep projects running smoothly and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities

In this role, you will:

  • Carry out site engineering tasks including setting out, surveying, and checking works against design drawings.
  • Support coordination and planning of site works, ensuring technical queries are resolved promptly.
  • Maintain site records such as daily diaries, as-built information, and inspection and test plans.
  • Liaise with subcontractors, suppliers, and project team members to ensure timely delivery.
  • Promote health, safety, and environmental policies while ensuring compliance with site regulations.

What We’re Looking For

This role is perfect for you if:

  • You hold a Degree or HNC/HND in Civil Engineering or a related discipline.
  • You have previous experience in a site-based engineering role.
  • You’re proficient in using setting out and surveying equipment such as total stations or GPS.
  • You have a strong understanding of technical drawings and construction processes.
  • You hold a CSCS card, relevant safety qualifications, and a full driving licence.
