Are you ready to take your career to the next level? We’re on the lookout for a passionate Quantity Surveyor to join our dynamic Kier Design team. Your Role and Responsibilities

As a Quantity Surveyor, you will be a key player in supporting the delivery of commercial excellence across Kier Design. You’ll work closely with the Senior Quantity Surveyor and be involved in:

  • Leading subcontractor procurement activities, including tendering, evaluation, and appointment.
  • Managing whole-life subcontract performance.
  • Supporting contract administration and change control processes.
  • Providing accurate forecasting and reporting, preparing client applications for payment.
  • Ensuring compliance with commercial standards and controls through PLM governance.
  • Contributing to team efficiency by monitoring utilization and supporting bid and tender activities.

What We’re Looking For

This role is perfect for you if:

  • You have experience in a similar Quantity Surveying role within construction, consultancy, design, or term-service environments.
  • You possess strong contractual awareness, including NEC and general commercial principles.
  • You’re confident in preparing client applications, forecasting, cost reporting, and managing change control processes.
  • You have excellent written and verbal communication skills and are detail-oriented.
  • You’re a collaborative problem-solver with strong time management skills and commercial judgment.
