Location & Hours
Location: Sheffield
Hours: 08:30 – 17:00 (40 hours a week)

Your Role
As a Quantity Surveyor, you will play a vital role in managing commercial resources to maximize planned gross margin through effective contract and subcontract management. You will be working from site or office for 3+ days a week, ensuring that our projects meet the highest standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage commercial resources to maximize planned gross margin and support budgeted profitability.
- Tender, evaluate, and appoint subcontractors, and place orders for materials and plant.
- Identify, evaluate, and negotiate variations to contracts with customers and suppliers.
- Measure and value work to support invoicing of customers and payment to suppliers.
- Produce monthly VCRs and End Life Forecasts, and manage cashflows.

- You possess strong communication skills and have experience working with multidisciplinary teams, clients, and supply chains.
- You hold relevant qualifications (Degree or HNC in Quantity Surveying is desirable) and have experience in a similar role.
- You have excellent organizational skills and can prioritize effectively to meet deadlines.
- You are flexible and can work both as part of a team and independently.
- You are proficient in using a range of IT packages, including Microsoft Office and bespoke software.
