Are you ready to take on an exciting new challenge at Butlin’s? The Supervisor Plus role is your chance to shine! As the main point of contact for your team, you’ll play a crucial role in ensuring our operational standards are top-notch and that our guests have an unforgettable experience.

Reporting directly to the Manager, you’ll be the driving force behind our daily operational plans. Your mission? To ensure that tasks are executed flawlessly and that your team is in the right place at the right time to meet our guests' needs while maintaining high operational standards.

In this role, you’ll primarily oversee accommodation on our intake days (Monday and Friday) and spend the rest of the week in our Splash Waterworld, ensuring that our guests receive nothing short of excellence. While Monday and Friday are your core days in accommodation, you may also lend a hand on other days as needed.

Your Responsibilities

• Operational Leadership: Be the hands-on leader, ensuring your team is effectively tackling all key tasks and objectives.
• Coaching & Development: Support and coach your team to achieve departmental targets, including retail upselling.
• Audit Management: Take charge of CAFF audits in accommodation and other departmental audits as required.
• Sales Promotion: Drive add-on sales and promotions to enhance guest experiences.
• Guest Experience: Monitor and ensure a consistent, high-quality guest experience in line with our brand guidelines.
• Feedback Management: Capture and act on guest feedback to continuously improve our services.
• Team Communication: Champion effective communication within your area, ensuring that all key messages are relayed from management to your team.
• Relationship Building: Foster strong relationships across the resort and with central support teams.
• People Support: Assist with onboarding and performance management throughout the employee lifecycle.

Focus Areas in Splash

As a Supervisor Plus, you’ll also play a vital role in the operation of our Splash pool:

Pool Operations

• Supervise daily operations of the swimming pool and leisure facilities.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and safeguarding procedures.
• Conduct regular poolside supervision and maintain lifeguarding coverage.
• Support the delivery of pool activities and guest experiences.

Team Leadership

• Guide and support lifeguards and pool team members during shifts.
• Provide coaching and on-the-job training.
• Allocate daily duties and ensure adequate staffing levels.

Health & Safety

• Ensure compliance with safety legislation and industry standards.
• Conduct routine safety checks of the pool and surrounding areas.
• Respond to emergencies in line with action plans.

Guest Experience

• Create a friendly and welcoming environment for guests.
• Assist guests with queries and ensure safe use of facilities.
• Handle guest feedback professionally.

Qualifications

• NPQL or Equivalent Qualification
• Previous experience in a swimming pool environment.
• Strong knowledge of pool safety.
