Are you ready to make a difference? We’re on the lookout for a passionate Electrical Technician to join our dynamic Area 4 M&R team based in Area 4 - Stanford Depot, Kent. This is your chance to contribute to the maintenance and improvement of streetlighting assets that serve our communities!
Location & Hours
Location: Area 4 - Stanford Depot, M20 Junction 11, Honeywood, Kent, United Kingdom, CT21 4UX
Hours: Full time - 40 hours per week, with a flexible rota for days and nights.
Salary: £38,806 per annum

Your Role and Responsibilities
As an Electrical Technician, you will play a crucial role in our Electrical team, focusing on both routine preventative and reactive maintenance of streetlighting assets. Here’s what your day-to-day will look like:
- Perform maintenance and construction works on streetlighting equipment, adhering to contract requirements.
- Ensure all tasks are completed safely, following risk assessments, method statements, and quality plans.
- Accurately record and document work to support performance monitoring.
- Collaborate with the health, safety, and environmental team by reporting incidents and maintaining safety records.
- Work together with the wider team to foster a ‘right first time’ culture.

- Hold an ECS Card and a full driving licence.
- Have experience in streetlighting operations and electrical systems maintenance.
- Are skilled at managing projects within tight time and budget constraints.
