Location & Hours

Location: Greater London - Enjoy the flexibility of remote working with occasional office visits.
Hours: Full-time with some flexibility available. Just let us know your preferences when we chat!

Your Opportunity

Step into an exciting role where you’ll be part of a large commercial project on the iconic Oxford Street. This is a fantastic chance to enhance your skills while contributing to a high-profile scheme in central London. You’ll collaborate closely with our Site Management team, providing essential technical support and tackling challenges head-on.

Your Responsibilities

As an Engineer, you’ll play a crucial role in ensuring technical excellence throughout the construction process. Your daily tasks will include:

  • Setting out works and conducting regular checks on setting out points and benchmarks for accuracy.
  • Monitoring and inspecting work by the RC frame contractor and other trades to ensure compliance with technical standards.
  • Raising technical queries with the design team and supply chain to ensure all necessary information is available.
  • Monitoring and reporting on the technical compliance of materials, equipment, products, and workmanship.
  • Ensuring the site team understands all primary setting out information and can follow it accurately.

What We’re Looking For

This role is perfect for you if:

  • You have experience in RC basement construction and ideally RC superstructure construction with a frame contractor.
  • You hold an HNC or above in a Civil Engineering related discipline.
  • You are confident in setting out and using surveying instruments.
  • You have experience and training in temporary works.
  • You possess a CSCS Card and SMSTS qualification.
