Are you ready to take your engineering career to the next level? We’re on the lookout for a Senior Engineer to join our dynamic team in Exeter, Ipswich, or Salford. Enjoy the flexibility of remote working with occasional office visits!

Location & Hours

Location: Exeter, Ipswich, or Salford - remote working available, with occasional travel to the office required.

Hours: 40 hours per week - some flexibility on hours available if desired, just let us know when you speak to us.

Your Responsibilities

As a Senior Engineer, you’ll play a crucial role in our Design team, delivering coordinated and sustainable engineering solutions. You’ll be responsible for:

  • Leading the technical delivery of drainage and water design packages across various projects, including building, development, transportation, and flood management.
  • Managing programme, budget, and risk commitments for your work packages, escalating issues when necessary.
  • Collaborating with multi-disciplinary teams and stakeholders to ensure integrated and efficient design delivery.
  • Providing line management and mentoring to graduates or apprentices, supporting their technical development.
  • Contributing to the continuous improvement of team practices, standards, and delivery quality.

What We’re Looking For

This role is perfect for you if:

  • You have demonstrated experience in delivering drainage and water design packages with a high degree of technical autonomy.
  • You’re confident in managing the technical delivery of work packages, including programme awareness, cost control, and proactive risk management.
  • You enjoy collaborating within multi-disciplinary teams and engaging effectively with stakeholders.
  • You have a track record of producing high-quality, compliant engineering outputs in line with relevant standards and regulations.
  • You hold a full driving licence and are willing to travel as required.
