What You’ll Be Doing
As a Senior Mechanical Engineer, you’ll play a crucial role in our project team, ensuring the delivery of compliant, safe, and efficient mechanical services. Your daily responsibilities will include:
- Ensuring all works are procured, planned, and executed safely in line with Kier standards, project requirements, and UK law.
- Collaborating with design teams and clients to review designs, optimizing them for safe and efficient construction.
- Managing change control processes and identifying risks and opportunities throughout the project lifecycle.
- Implementing quality control procedures to ensure successful project completion within agreed timescales and budgets.
- Providing leadership and guidance to project team members, setting clear expectations to maximize performance.
What We’re Looking For
This role is perfect for you if:
- You possess strong technical knowledge in Mechanical Services and Safety.
- You hold CSCS and SMSTS accreditation as a minimum.
- You have experience managing mechanical engineering work packages on construction projects.
- You thrive in a collaborative team environment, supporting colleagues to achieve shared goals.
- You are dedicated to maintaining high standards of quality, safety, and compliance.
