Location: North West of England
Hours: 45 hours per week (some flexibility available—just let us know!)

Your Role

This is an exciting opportunity to oversee the successful delivery of MEICA projects from design to handover across multiple integrated schemes. You’ll play a key role in the installation and upgrading of treatment and distribution assets as part of our strategic partnership with United Utilities for AMP8. Working within Kier Infrastructure Major Projects, you’ll help deliver top-notch design and build services for both new and existing infrastructure assets.

What Will You Be Responsible For?

As a MEICA Project Manager, you’ll be an integral part of the Major Projects team, ensuring high-quality infrastructure solutions are delivered. Your daily responsibilities will include:

  • Overseeing project reporting, including key performance indicators and project status updates
  • Managing the selection and coordination of mechanical and electrical supply chain partners
  • Taking accountability for the design integration of M&E package plants and associated control systems
  • Leading programme ownership for all mechanical and electrical aspects from design through to commissioning and handover
  • Developing and mentoring team members, including Project Engineers and Supervisors

What Are We Looking For?

This role is perfect for you if:

  • You have experience in a similar role, ideally within water sector projects
  • You hold a BEng/ONC/HNC qualification in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering
  • You are technically competent in both Mechanical and Electrical disciplines
  • You possess strong people and project management skills with a keen commercial awareness
  • You have a Full driving licence
