Location & Hours
Location: Maple Lodge, Rickmansworth - with remote working options and occasional office visits.
Hours: 45 hours per week - we offer flexibility, so just let us know what works for you!

Your Role
As an Electrical / ICA Engineer, you will play a crucial role in delivering LV Electrical, Control & Automation, and PLC & SCADA engineering expertise for industrial projects. You’ll collaborate with a talented team to ensure high-quality solutions for both new and existing infrastructure across the region.
Key Responsibilities
In this role, you will:
- Review and provide constructive feedback on LV Electrical and ICA documentation, ensuring compliance with water industry asset standards (WIMES).
- Represent Kier at client meetings and conduct technical reviews of electrical and ICA installations on-site.
- Conduct fault finding and system configuration for MCC and ICA equipment, including PLCs and control panels.
- Oversee the installation of communication networks and attend Factory Acceptance Tests for MCC/RTU builds.
- Engage with the supply chain to provide innovative proposals while maintaining health & safety, environmental, and quality standards.
What We’re Looking For
This role is perfect for you if you:
- Hold an HNC qualification in Electrical/Electronic or Instrumentation Engineering, or a similar discipline.
- Have experience in ICA engineering, PLCs, HMIs, Profibus networks, and SCADA installations on large-scale water treatment works.
- Possess a solid understanding of Low Voltage large motor control centres and various communications protocols.
- Have experience in contractor management and a knack for working safely within a multi-discipline team.
- Hold a Full driving licence and are familiar with WIMES and UK water industry standards.
