Your Role and Responsibilities
As a Senior Engineer, you will be a vital part of our Design team, delivering innovative and sustainable engineering solutions. You’ll take charge of exciting projects, ensuring high-quality drainage and water solutions that meet compliance standards. Under the guidance of the Design Team Leader, you’ll manage design packages while mentoring early-career engineers to enhance our team's technical capabilities.
Day-to-Day Activities Include:
- Leading the technical delivery of drainage and water design packages across various projects, including building, development, transportation, and flood management.
- Managing programme, budget, and risk commitments for your work packages, escalating issues as necessary.
- Collaborating with multi-disciplinary teams and stakeholders to ensure seamless and efficient design delivery.
- Providing mentorship and support to graduates or apprentices, fostering their technical growth.
- Contributing to the continuous improvement of team practices, standards, and delivery quality.
What We’re Looking For
This role is perfect for you if:
- You have proven experience in delivering drainage and water design packages with a high level of technical autonomy.
- You’re confident in managing the technical delivery of work packages, including programme awareness, cost control, and proactive risk management.
- You thrive in collaborative environments, engaging effectively with multi-disciplinary teams and stakeholders.
- You have a track record of producing high-quality, compliant engineering outputs in line with relevant standards and regulations.
- You hold a full driving licence and are open to travel as required.
