Senior Engineer

Join our dynamic Kier Construction team as an Engineer in the vibrant areas of London and Thames Valley! This is your chance to be part of an exciting large commercial project on the iconic Oxford Street.

Location: Greater London - enjoy the flexibility of remote working, with occasional office visits required.
Hours: Full-time with some flexibility available. Just let us know your preferences when we chat!

Your Role

As an Engineer, you will play a crucial role in supporting our Site Management team, ensuring technical excellence throughout the construction process. Your daily responsibilities will include:

• Setting out works and conducting regular checks to ensure accuracy.
• Monitoring and inspecting work by the RC frame contractor and other trades for compliance with technical standards.
• Raising technical queries with the design team and supply chain to ensure all necessary information is available.
• Monitoring and reporting on the technical compliance of materials, equipment, products, and workmanship.
• Ensuring the site team understands all primary setting out information and can follow it accurately.

What We’re Looking For

This role is perfect for you if:

• You have experience in RC basement construction and ideally RC superstructure construction with a frame contractor.
• You hold an HNC or above in a Civil Engineering related discipline.
• You are confident in setting out and using surveying instruments.
• You have experience and training in temporary works.
• You possess a CSCS Card and SMSTS qualification.
