Join Our Team as an Operative!
Are you ready to make a difference? We’re on the lookout for a dedicated Operative to join our dynamic Anglian Water Alliance team in Northampton.
Location & Hours
Location: Great Billing, Northampton
Hours: 45 hours per week, Monday to Friday
Please note: We are unable to offer certificates of sponsorship for this role.
Your Role
As an Operative, you’ll be an integral part of our team, working on vital projects such as:
- Maintenance of existing assets
- Pressure management
- District metering
- Large and complex mains repairs
This is a hands-on position where you’ll take personal responsibility for health and safety, quality of work, and productivity targets, all while engaging with customers in a professional manner.
Key Responsibilities
In this role, you will:
- Ensure health and safety performance and quality of work
- Excavate on the highway with a focus on small-scale civils and reinstatement
- Maintain professional communication with customers
- Update your team leader and colleagues on progress
- Promote wellbeing and inclusivity within your team
What We’re Looking For
This role is perfect for you if you:
- Hold a Full driving licence
- Possess a CSCS and EUSR Water Hygiene card
- Have experience working and excavating on the highway
- Are skilled in small-scale civils and reinstatement
- Hold a valid EUSR National Water Hygiene and SHEA Water certificate
