Are you ready to take the next step in your career? We're on the lookout for a Hydraulic Modelling Lead to join our dynamic Water Engineering team. This role offers flexibility with UK travel, allowing you to make a real impact in the water sector!

Location & Hours

Location: Flexible with UK travel
Hours: 37.5 hours per week - some flexibility available!

Your Role

As our Hydraulic Modelling Lead, you will play a pivotal role in shaping and growing our Water Engineering division. You’ll be at the forefront of delivering design excellence across clean and wastewater projects, collaborating closely with our construction teams and water company clients throughout the UK.

Key Responsibilities

In this exciting position, you will:

  • Lead hydraulic modelling activities to ensure design excellence and client satisfaction.
  • Develop and implement a hydraulic modelling growth plan in collaboration with the Head of Water.
  • Provide technical leadership and contribute to bid teams to deliver value to our clients.
  • Liaise with water companies and internal construction teams to ensure technical excellence.
  • Identify innovation opportunities and coordinate with in-house design leaders for effective resourcing.

What We’re Looking For

This role is perfect for you if you:

  • Have significant experience in the regulated water sector and a strong network within water client and design organizations.
  • Bring extensive expertise in using modelling packages for design and optioneering challenges in clean and wastewater projects.
  • Are Chartered (CEng) with a relevant professional body and hold a degree in an appropriate discipline.
  • Have a passion for developing high-performing teams and experience in a design and build environment.
  • Possess excellent communication skills with a collaborative, customer-focused approach and an open leadership style.
