Are you ready to take on an exciting challenge? We’re looking for a Site Manager to join our dynamic team in Brixworth, Northamptonshire. This is your chance to lead a variety of Major Projects and Local Authority civil engineering schemes across the beautiful East Midlands!
Key Details
Location: Brixworth, Northamptonshire – onsite 5 days per week
Hours: Permanent Full-time, 40 hours per week (some flexibility available)
Salary: £48,000 - £52,000 per year + £5,900 annual car allowance + private healthcare + additional benefits

Your Responsibilities
As our Site Manager, you will oversee highways infrastructure projects, including:
- Interchange and junction improvements
- New builds and town centre regeneration
- Active travel schemes and maintenance projects
Your daily tasks will include:
- Managing Kier staff and labour framework operatives while procuring plant/materials for safe and efficient project delivery
- Producing and reviewing construction phase plans to ensure Health and Safety compliance
- Acting as Principal Contractor in managing scheme delivery by subcontractors
- Collaborating with Project Managers, Designers, and Commercial teams
- Engaging with clients, the public, elected councillors, and parish councils
- Inspecting work quality in line with Inspection Test Plans and scheme specifications
What We’re Looking For
This role is perfect for you if you:
- Have experience managing projects under NEC 4 contracts
- Hold an HNC, HND, degree, or equivalent qualification in Civil Engineering or a related field
- Possess industry-recognized certifications (NRSWA Supervisor, 12D M7 Traffic Management, SMSTS)
- Have a full driving licence and are comfortable traveling to various sites
- Exhibit strong leadership and communication skills, with experience managing teams and contractors
