General Foreman

Hours: 45 hours per week (flexibility available—just let us know!)

Your Role

As a General Foreman, you will be at the forefront of managing safety on site while ensuring that every task is executed with precision and skill. You’ll work hands-on with your team, coordinating activities and providing the support they need to excel. This is more than just a job; it’s an opportunity to lead by example and drive your team towards outstanding results.

Key Responsibilities

In this role, you will:

• Manage site safety, delivering inductions, toolbox talks, daily briefings, and point of work assessments.
• Supervise site operatives and coordinate daily activities to ensure work is completed safely and to the highest standards.
• Organize site equipment, plant, and materials to keep projects running smoothly.
• Maintain daily records and liaise with line managers on progress, methods, and any programme impacts.
• Implement work safety plans, method statements, and risk assessments, ensuring all team members have the necessary training and PPE.

What We’re Looking For

This role is perfect for you if you:

• Have practical knowledge and experience in setting up and running a construction site.
• Hold an NVQ Level 3 or 4.
• Possess a CSCS card at Supervisor level (Gold, Experienced Supervisor, or Manager).
• Have SSSTS certification.
• Are passionate about safety, teamwork, and empowering others to do their best work.
