Are you ready to take on a pivotal role in one of the UK's largest infrastructure projects? We are seeking a Senior Quantity Surveyor to join our HS2 North Calvert Civils Package team based in Twyford, Buckinghamshire. Hours
This is a Permanent Full-time position, requiring 45 hours per week. We offer some flexibility on working hours, so feel free to share your preferences during our conversation!
Salary
Starting from £65,000 per year, plus private healthcare, a £6,700 annual car allowance, and a comprehensive benefits package.

Your Responsibilities
As a Senior Quantity Surveyor, you will be at the forefront of managing the commercial performance of this high-profile project. Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:
- Managing commercial resources and contract administration to maximize project value and achieve planned gross margin targets.
- Preparing and submitting applications for payment, valuations, compensation events, claims, and commercial reporting data.
- Identifying, assessing, and mitigating commercial and contractual risks across the project.
- Supporting effective cash flow management through accurate measurement, valuation, and invoicing processes.
- Valuing subcontractor works and certifying interim and final payments in accordance with contractual requirements.
What We’re Looking For
This role is perfect for someone with strong commercial acumen who thrives on complex infrastructure and civil engineering projects. We are looking for candidates who possess:
- Previous experience as a Quantity Surveyor or Senior Quantity Surveyor in civil engineering, highways, rail, infrastructure, or construction sectors.
- A relevant qualification such as a Degree, HNC, or HND in Quantity Surveying, Commercial Management, or a related discipline.
- Strong commercial and financial management skills, with advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel and commercial reporting tools.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to build productive working relationships across project teams.
- Strong organizational skills, capable of managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced project environment.
