Location:
Glastonbury, Somerset
Contract:
Fixed term zero hour contract until April 2027. Enjoy flexible shifts covering days, nights, and weekends, depending on call-outs and weather conditions.
Salary:
- £18.04 per hour (Monday to Saturday)
- £23.52 per hour (Sunday and Bank Holidays)
- Weekly standby payment of £238.99
Your Responsibilities:
As a Winter Maintenance Driver, you’ll play a crucial role in ensuring our roads remain safe and accessible. Your day-to-day tasks will include:
- Driving a gritter vehicle during unsociable hours
- Fitting a snow plough in adverse weather conditions
- Maintaining accurate driver and vehicle records
What We’re Looking For:
This role is perfect for you if you:
- Hold a current LGV Class 2 licence (minimum)
- Have CPC accreditation and are eager to undertake relevant training
