Your Impact

As a Senior Design Manager, you will play a crucial role in steering project success from tender to delivery, leveraging our Design and Build capabilities.
Your Responsibilities
In this role, you will:
- Manage and deliver design information in line with agreed programmes and schedules.
- Ensure appointed design consultants meet their obligations and adhere to standards and briefs.
- Assess, mitigate, and manage design-related risks throughout the project lifecycle.
- Chair design meetings, write reports, and deliver engaging presentations to stakeholders.
- Ensure design compliance with health and safety legislation, sustainable building standards, and industry codes of practice.
What We’re Looking For
This role is perfect for you if you:
- Hold a relevant qualification in Construction Management, Engineering, or Architecture, with proven experience in a design role within a main contractor environment.
- Have experience with BIM Level 2 projects and a deep understanding of the design process at both commercial and construction stages.
- Possess a thorough knowledge of the RIBA plan of work and current building regulations.
- Can create detailed presentations and feel confident presenting to both internal and external stakeholders.
- Hold a Full driving licence.
