Role Overview
Position: Senior / Supervising Social Worker
Hours: 28 hours per week, flexible on days
Salary: Up to £39,392.73 per annum FTE, based on experience
Contract: 12-month fixed-term contract
Location: Central West Midlands - covering Birmingham, Tamworth, Wolverhampton, Walsall, and Shrewsbury

Your Role and Responsibilities
As a Senior / Supervising Social Worker, you will:
- Recruit, train, assess, support, and supervise a diverse range of Foster Parents.
- Ensure high-quality placements for looked-after children.

We seek an enthusiastic and committed self-starter who can work independently while staying connected with team members and Foster Parents. The ideal candidate will:
- Have excellent assessment and communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Be a qualified Social Worker with current Social Work England registration.
- Possess a good understanding of relevant legislation and policies related to fostering and safeguarding.
- Bring a creative vision and drive, whether you’re new to fostering or an experienced Supervising Social Worker.
