Your Responsibilities

As a Senior Mechanical Engineer, you will play a crucial role in our project team, ensuring the delivery of compliant, safe, and efficient mechanical services. Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

  • Ensuring all works are procured, planned, and executed safely in line with Kier standards, project requirements, and UK law.
  • Reviewing designs with design teams and clients to optimize for efficient and safe construction.
  • Managing change control processes and identifying risks and opportunities throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Implementing quality control procedures to ensure successful project completion within agreed timescales and budgets.
  • Providing leadership to project team members, setting clear expectations, and guiding them to maximize performance.

What We’re Looking For

This role is perfect for you if:

  • You are technically savvy in Mechanical Services and Safety.
  • You hold CSCS and SMSTS accreditation as a minimum.
  • You have experience managing mechanical engineering works packages on construction projects.
  • You thrive in a collaborative team environment, supporting colleagues to achieve shared goals.
  • You are committed to maintaining high standards of quality, safety, and compliance.
