Are you ready to take your career to the next level? We’re on the lookout for a passionate Electrical Project Engineer to join our dynamic Kier Mechanical & Electrical team in the beautiful South, specifically in Basingstoke/Aldershot.

Kier Mechanical & Electrical (KME) is a leading internal MEP self-delivery design and build business within the Kier group. We support regional businesses across the UK and engage in strategic projects, boasting full design, construction, and commissioning capabilities across core sectors such as Custodial, Commercial, and Health & Science.

Your Role

As an Electrical Project Engineer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring our projects meet specifications, stay within budget, and adhere to timelines. You’ll collaborate with talented project teams to deliver safe and efficient electrical engineering solutions. Here’s what your day-to-day will look like:

  • Ensure all works are procured, planned, and executed safely in line with Kier standards and UK law.
  • Review designs with teams and clients to optimize for efficient and safe construction.
  • Manage change control procedures and implement quality control measures.
  • Provide leadership and guidance to project team members.
  • Identify project risks and opportunities, supporting mitigation and enhancement strategies.

What We’re Looking For

This role is perfect for you if:

  • You possess a strong technical background in Electrical Services and safety, holding a relevant industry-accredited qualification.
  • You have CSCS and SMSTS accreditation as a minimum.
  • You thrive in collaborative project teams and have a track record of delivering successful outcomes.
  • You can navigate budgets and commercial priorities, making informed decisions.
  • You are committed to promoting wellbeing and fostering an inclusive workplace that values diverse perspectives.
